Felix Damm, on of Michael Schumacher’s lawyers, told a German court that the 7-time Formula 1 world champion “cannot walk” due to his traumatic brain injury acquired while skiing in France back in December 2013. Felix went on to say that Michael is unable to stand without specialized help.
Felix was explaining the extent of 47-year-old Micheal Schumacher’s skiing injuries in a lawsuit against a a German magazine named “Bunte” (appears to be a tabloid). Last December, Bunte reported that Michael Schumacher could walk again.
Bunte had quoted a source last December saying that Michael could walk a few steps and raise an arm.
At the time of that Bunte report, Michael Schumacher’s agent, Sabine Kehm, released a statement opposed to Bunte’s report.
“Unfortunately we are forced by a recent press report to clarify that the assertion that Michael could move again is not true. Such speculation is irresponsible, because given the seriousness of his injuries, his privacy is very important.
