Anthony McKay received a degree in acting from Carnegie Mellon in1969. In New York, Professor McKay has appeared on Broadway with theNegro Ensemble Company in The First Breeze of Summer and inJean Kerr's Lunch Hour with Gilda Radner. Off-Broadway heappeared in Moonchildren, Incident At Vichy, andClarence at the Roundabout Theatre. His many regional theatrecredits include stints at the McCarter Theatre in Princeton, NJ,Stage West in Springfield, Massachusetts and Meadow Brook Theatre inMichigan. Most recently he appeared at the Zephyr Theatre in SanFrancisco in Arthur Giron's Edith Stein. As a director,Professor McKay staged plays at Playwright's Horizons and The JewishRepertory Theatre and the Ensemble Studio Theatre where he launchedtheir first one-act Marathon and where his first play, The BusterSealy Story, was produced with actor Ted Danson.
